Thankfully, through SCORE, a non-profit business mentorship program, we got some training and was introduced to a producer from NY. It has been fun, 'interviewing' different voice actors to create the intro and outro, and we were super stoked to get Taylor Hughes, local artist (who by the way will be playing at the Concord Center for the Arts coming up!) to play the background music from his hit song, "Back Road" which is so quintessentially back road NH! A guy from the Children's Trust who has a podcast NH Families NOW, helped figure out equipment, and UNH helped fund it all. Vista Pro Shop was who we used for marketing materials so far... We expect to be using Riverside as a platform and some Adobe software for editing, but for the first 12 episodes, Health Market Connect is sponsoring using the NY Producer. We want to kick this off right! Archways' Threads is a show designed for people interested in the practices of supporting families and individuals affected by difficulties in life including substance use. Each episode, Michelle Lennon (President and CEO of Archways Recovery Community Organization and Family Resource Centers) and guests speak about threads of life such as hope, strength—frustrations and successes-- and other things that create the tapestry of life in recovery. Sometimes intuitive and insightful, and other times a bit fresh and cheeky, join us as we share stories from peers and participants in the field and practice of Peer Recovery Support and Family Support & Strengthening. A big thank you to Health Market Connect for sponsoring our first 12 episodes! More to come as we set up the connection points! If you want to get on our list, feel free to email us at [email protected] to be some of the first subscribers!
