Michelle J. Lennon
President/CEO

Michelle is the esteemed President and Chief Executive Officer of Archways and the driving force behind this integrated family resource center and recovery organization, with four centers: Tilton, Franklin, Concord, and Plymouth. From the very beginning, she has demonstrated a hands-on, supportive leadership style, working collaboratively with her team and participants. Michelle played a pivotal role in establishing the first community-built center in the basement of a church in Tilton, New Hampshire, in response to the profound impact of poverty and substance use on local families.

With a deep personal understanding of addiction's effects within her own family and a substantial career in family support, Michelle has become a recognized champion of strength-based services and education for individuals and families. Her mission is to enhance access to resources and elevate the recovery support field's capacity, not only locally and regionally but throughout the entire country. Michelle's expertise and commitment to leadership excellence are further underscored by her certification from the prestigious Yale Leadership Program. This distinction highlights her dedication to honing her skills and staying at the forefront of effective leadership practices.

As a true pioneer in innovative practices, Michelle has been instrumental in integrating family and peer recovery support services, redefining how families can play a vital role in the recovery journey. Her expertise has made her a sought-after national trainer, collaborating with renowned organizations such as the national Opioid Response Network, the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, Be Strong Families of Chicago, the Forever Hope Training Center of Tilton, and many others.

Michelle's unwavering commitment to families and her relentless pursuit of change has led her to co-author an emerging evidence-based program model called "Family Threads." This groundbreaking curriculum provides guidance to those supporting families dealing with addiction through home visiting, offering much-needed direction and support. Michelle's contribution to this pioneering initiative marks a significant milestone as the first of its kind in the field.

"Recovering together is our aspiration for families. My passion lies in ensuring that individuals and families can access supportive services without shame or blame. Educating communities about addiction and the effects of substance use can truly transform the lives of those affected. Community education plays a critical role in driving meaningful change," Michelle passionately expresses.

Michelle Lennon's areas of interest and expertise span diverse domains, including education, parent engagement, professional development, vitality (encompassing physical, mental/emotional, and self-care), spirituality, and holistic well-being. Her multifaceted approach ensures that individuals and families receive comprehensive support that addresses their unique needs across various dimensions of life. Moreover, Michelle's exceptional dedication is evident in her tireless efforts to establish the Greater Tilton Area Family Resource Center. Without receiving any salary for years, she nurtured its growth from humble beginnings in a church basement to a thriving community resource. Her unwavering compassion and steadfast commitment to improving the lives of those impacted by addiction have earned her the reputation of being one of the most compassionate and dedicated individuals in her field, most recently  earning a legacy award from the NH Children's Health Foundation.

Michelle J. Lennon's visionary leadership, groundbreaking work in integrating family support and recovery, and her involvement in ministry have set new standards within the industry. Her profound impact on the recovery community, both in New Hampshire and beyond, has established her as a respected trailblazer and a beacon of hope for families seeking a path to healing, resilience, and spiritual growth.
