Family Threads |
Family ThreadsFamily Threads combines the principles of Family Strengthening and Support with Peer Recovery Support to help families affected by problematic alcohol or substance use. This program is designed for families with children under 18 who are committed to strengthening their family relationships while working toward recovery goals.
By offering individualized support, group sessions, and community activities, Family Threads helps families build essential skills, increase resilience, and create lasting change. The program is grounded in the Strengthening Families Protective Factors™ framework, ensuring a comprehensive approach to both Recovery and Family Support. Participants can earn a Family Threads Certification by completing required training, engaging in six months of coaching, and demonstrating adherence to the program’s core principles. Endorsed as a Promising Practice by the New Hampshire Service to Science Expert Panel in March 2022, Family Threads is actively gathering data to achieve evidence-based recognition.
