 comprehensive Family Support

family support

One-on-one support that helps caretakers make connections, build community, and access the resources needed to raise healthy, happy children. In partnership with Family Support Specialists, individuals and their families set goals and work to remove any personal or environmental barriers along the way! Family Support Specialists are trained in the evidence-based in-home visiting curriculum, Parents as Teachers, as well as trained in the parent-driven developmental screening tool Ages & Stages Questionnaire, which is offered to caregivers. Home Visits are available for families with new babies or those with limited access to transportation. This service is free, confidential, and completely voluntary.

Tania Rich
Family Threads Coordinator
Lead Family Support Specialist - Franklin

Unexpected life challenges happen to all of us. It was through those experiences Tania was first connected to Archways. This connection was life changing for her. She was connected to resources that helped her work through her struggles and supported her return to health. With the support of the team here at Archways, she got back on track, and more than that, she began to thrive and obtained her Certified Recovery Support Worker certification. Today she works as the Coordinator of the Family Threads program, supporting families affected by addiction who have young children. Tania states, "It is an honor and a privilege for me to have the opportunity to work with families that may not know what to do or where to turn when they are facing those unexpected life challenges."

Sara Bouvier

Sara joined Archways in 2025. Previously, Sara worked for five years at Healthfirst Family Care Center as a Lead Patient Service Representative and MAT and Psychiatric Intake Coordinator for Healthfirst Family Care Center. Sara’s passion lies in supporting families within her community, and she is currently working on attaining her Certified Recovery Support Worker certification to continue her devotion to positively support local neighborhoods. Over time, she has grown to know and foster supportive relationships with her participants. Her passion for making participants feel welcomed and supported is what really makes her shine. When Sara is not greeting participants with her warm smile, you can find Sara volunteering at local community events.  When Sara is not giving back to her community, you can find her spending time with her two daughters and family, training her two dogs (Bonnie and Luna) and trying new cooking or baking recipes. She also enjoys camping and traveling.

Larry Hodgkins
Kinship Navigator/Family Support Specialist

Larry joined our team with a special interest and gifts and talents in kinship caregiving. Kinship caregivers may be grandparents, aunts, uncles or other relatives, or even close family friends such as godparents, who are raising children that are not their own. Kinship caregiving happens when a child’s parents are unable to meet their family’s needs. Relatives or close family friends are an important resource because kinship care helps children maintain connection to family members, and in some cases even schools and communities, and increases child well-being until the situation at home improves. Kinship care arrangements may be formal and involve a legal process, payments to help with the costs of caring for the child, and other support services. Some kinship care arrangements are informal and involve an assessment process to ensure the safety of the new home along with supportive services for the child and caregivers. Larry's life and work experience shine through in all of his interactions.
